We’ve got some lovely news – Arreton Barns has been nominated for Best Large Attraction at the 2026 Red Funnel Isle of Wight Awards, and the Dairyman’s Daughter has picked up two nominations: Best Pub and Best Roast.
Three nominations at the 2026 Isle of Wight Awards feel like a genuine pat on the back from the people who visit us, and we’re really touched.
If you haven’t been, Arreton Barns is a little traffic-free village of independent craft studios: glassblowers, silversmiths, leatherworkers, wood turners, all set in a beautiful rural spot that’s been here for centuries.
The Dairyman’s Daughter sits at the heart of it, a proper real ale pub named after Elizabeth Wallbridge, a local girl buried in the churchyard just outside. After taking Bronze for Best Pub last year, these nominations mean a lot.
