Discover the Isle of Wight Glass Museum at Arreton Barns, home to the largest collection anywhere of handmade art glass produced on the Isle of Wight.
With over 1,200 pieces on display across two galleries, the museum celebrates the Island’s glassmaking heritage alongside a growing collection of other British contemporary glass makers and European Art Deco glass.
The Studio gallery showcases the design and craftsmanship of the Island’s many studio glass makers, including Isle of Wight Studio Glass, Sculptglass, Glory Art Glass and Alum Bay Glass, as well as other individual makers. The Art Deco gallery specialises in French, German and British glass dating from the 1920s and 1930s.
The museum also has a shop offering glass, jewellery, books and other items, alongside educational facilities for group visits and an excellent library. The Isle of Wight Glass Museum is open every day of the week.
